A space where art and architecture merge. It is famous as one of the quietest and most sophisticated photo spots in Paris.

The charm of the Palais Royal!

A courtyard with striped columns adjoins the cloister and gardens, a very special place for photographers and filmmakers.
The beautiful cloisters and gardens, built in the 17th and 18th centuries, bring a prestigious atmosphere to the film as a place that symbolizes the elegance of Paris with its historical value and architectural beauty.
The movie "Mission: ImpossibleThere are many films being shot in the city, including "Emilie Goes to Paris" and "Amelie.

While taking the actual photos, I thought about the reasons and effects in my own way.

Perhaps...
●The geometry of the water surface, mirrored surfaces, cobblestones, and pillars contrast strongly with the light and are visually beautiful.
● Can express both stillness and movement, & the movement of people and the immobility of architecture can be easily integrated. ...I think.

Photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson has taken many photographs of the building, which is known for its well-proportioned columns and the rhythm of its light.
It is said that the “shimmering” of the natural light coming through the arches and the shadows cast on the floor create a dynamic rhythm within the linear structure and allow for the creation of photographs with a sense of storytelling.
So I think it means that black and white looks good here too... (I agree)

I only brought my GF5 this time, but since I have cataracts, it was difficult to see the LCD monitor and blurring was noticeable. It was hard to concentrate.
I knew I wanted to bring a slightly better lens and a tripod to take careful shots...
