Walking in the silence after the rain

The street corners of Paris are beautiful in the soft silence that suddenly appears after the rain has passed. The light reflected on the wet cobblestones, the quietly open park paths, and the showcases lined with sweet tarts. None of these have a voice, but they somehow speak to you warmly. There is a moment there, as if you are walking through someone's memories. I felt as if every door, every street was gently embracing the person I am today.
